I'm Igor, a front-end software engineer. I live in Guabiruba, in southern Brazil, and I've worked remotely at Geomais Geotecnologia since 2025. On the side, I build websites for businesses and work on my own products.
I like taking an idea all the way to production: interface, business rules, data, tests and deployment. I'm open to conversations about product and front-end work.
Experience
Geomais Geotecnologia
A geotechnology platform used by over 100 people to manage properties, land queries and maps. I'm the front-end specialist and work closely with back end and design.
- Heavily used tools, like property creation with automatic generation of multiple units, property recoding and feasibility checks.
- Over 10 legacy screens and modules migrated from JavaScript to TypeScript, with better performance, responsiveness and accessibility, plus automated tests.
- Hierarchical 3-level permissions per user group, with access controlled module by module.
- An internal library of over 20 components built with Atomic Design and documented in Storybook.
- Vector Editor: CAD-style vector editing in the browser, built with React and OpenLayers.
MLBC Comunicação Digital
Corporate websites and CMS-based platforms for clients in many industries. I was the team's only front-end engineer.
- Over 18 websites and CMS-based apps, from Figma to launch.
- Front-end of Unifique's digital project: a multi-step sign-up flow, with content and prices that change by location.
- Rebuilt the internal CMS twice. Publishing a site went from 2 or 3 weeks down to 1.
- Technical SEO that took a client to the top organic spot for their main search term.

How I use AI
I use AI every day, and Claude Code is my main tool: agents and context docs versioned alongside the code. This site was built that way. At Geomais I work with Codex, and I'm also comfortable with GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT.
I also build LLMs into products. In RetroDash, Gemini rewrites cards through a server-side API, so the key never reaches the browser.
