Acolhe is a practice management system for independent psychologists and small clinics, from 3 to 20 therapists. It’s in development.
I defined the business rules and set up the whole project.
What it does
- Clinical records that follow the Brazilian Federal Council of Psychology rules (Resolution CFP 11/2018).
- A weekly schedule, filtered by therapist.
- Billing.
- Session reminders over WhatsApp.
- Team members with different roles.
Data and privacy
The product site describes 5-year record retention, patient consent, an audit trail, data export under Brazil’s LGPD, data hosted in Brazil (São Paulo) and isolation between practices.
Engineering decisions
- A monorepo with Next.js, React and TypeScript, a PostgreSQL database on Supabase, and Prisma.
- Payments with Asaas and the authentication flow already integrated.
- Built with Claude Code, agents and context docs versioned in the repository.
- A testing agent runs in a Husky pre-push hook. If the suite fails, the push doesn’t go through.
